New tools for mathematical models

process3.png

Estlab Math Library (Windows/Linux) is capable to analyse which mathematical function represents the given series of measurements (see pic below). This is very useful to understand and optimize complex real-world processes. The library consists of two main components which are both optimized for parallel processing. Contact our sales and support  for more details!

Input data  is a multivariable dataset.

  • PolySurf  is a polynomial fit process an seeks through all combinations up to 7 different variables. The number of polynomial coefficients is kept under 220. The degree of the polynomial is then lower if more arguments are involved. The data can contain up to 511 potential arguments. The 10 best polynomials are reported. The criterion is sum of residual squares divided by degrees of freedom.

  •  FuncFit  reads the PolySurf output and seeks the function whose Taylor
    polynomial is closest to the PolySurf output. Ten best functions are
    reported.

Below is an example of result Function F :

F = (((2.01+c)*(0.129+a))+EXP((.903+c)+(1.04+b)))/((5.05+b)*(0.306+a))*SIN((1.87+a)*(0.708+b))
